Sa-puloh RM10 first series with agong watermark?

Hello, happy sunday morning all. I am posting about the RM10 first series Ismail Md Ali note. I am curiously why so many people is looking for this note back here in Sabah. They want the note with tiger@harimau watermark.

My RM10 below is of course have a tiger watermark:

But to the best of my knowledge, the tiger watermark was only put into the malaysian banknote beginning with the 5th series Aziz Taha RM10 note.

I heard there is something about 'geng tarik duit' or some 'bomoh' thing that why this note is much sought after. But to us collector, this is something very hard to explain why this note is NOT available to this kind of group of people.

    Yupp I heard a lot of story telling about this SA-PULOH RINGGIT with agong's watermark.. Oppss sorry, FYI I.m Firdaus from Sg.Petani,Kedah and i have those note SA-PULOH RINGGIT with agong's watermark. Sign by Gabenor Ismail Md Ali, printed by Thomas de la rue & co ltd.
    Today, I've just received a call (from a broker,maybe..) offer me to buy those note with MORE THAN rm200k. (rm two hundred thousand). Pls advice.

    tadi, baru pergi pasar malam, ada penjual barang2 antik ni, nak juga beli duit sedemikian, tetapi bukan watermark harimau...dia mahu yang watermark gambar agong...ape kegunaannya?...betul ke mistik sangat

    Bagi peminat duit mistik seperti sapuloh berwatermark agong anda di dalam liga yang tersendiri, tapi bagi kolektor sebenar duit tersebut tidak mempunyai harga kerana ia adalah duit palsu. So kalau nak tahu juga silalah jumpa dengan orang yg mistik..

RM100 Ali Abul Center Sign Found

It is that time of the month again to withdraw our hard earn salary money from the bank. And as usual for any banknotes collector it is a must to check every notes that reach our hands. If you did not check maybe there is a replacement , solid, ladder or maybe just an old signature that you just didn't realize you can get for free. So this time around, I managed to get 2 piece of RM100 Ali Abul center sign. Although the condition is at best VF(very fine), I am happy and will keep these notes in my album collection. One of the notes is AR last prefix and the second one is AN prefix if I am not mistaken. So the next time you got some cash in your hand, please take a minute and scanned the number or signature of the notes. Maybe got RM1 CR Ali Abul or solid 8888888 number. Wow! Although it is most unlikely.
