Banknotes hunting 12.11.11

I am suppose to do this banknotes hunting on the auspicious day of 11.11.11 but due to work commitment I only have time to go out today. I went to Wisma Merdeka to look into Malaysian banknotes that I might be interested in. One note that caught my attention is RM100 4th Aziz Taha but the price is RM1.8k, if the price is around RM1.1k to 1.5k maybe I can make an offer, which I did and was kindly decline.

So I ended buying these notes:

The RM5 blindman is the prefix NA,NB,NC,ND and the Aziz Taha is prefix PE 3 running numbers. While the RM100s is in EF-AUNC condition, the RM50 is VF and I got it for a little above face value.

Can anyone take a guess of what the price of ALL the item in the picture above? Take a guess no harm done and maybe a prize if u got it absolutely right. Hahahaha

Cheers and happy school holidays!

RM100 Ali Abul Center Sign Found

It is that time of the month again to withdraw our hard earn salary money from the bank. And as usual for any banknotes collector it is a must to check every notes that reach our hands. If you did not check maybe there is a replacement , solid, ladder or maybe just an old signature that you just didn't realize you can get for free. So this time around, I managed to get 2 piece of RM100 Ali Abul center sign. Although the condition is at best VF(very fine), I am happy and will keep these notes in my album collection. One of the notes is AR last prefix and the second one is AN prefix if I am not mistaken. So the next time you got some cash in your hand, please take a minute and scanned the number or signature of the notes. Maybe got RM1 CR Ali Abul or solid 8888888 number. Wow! Although it is most unlikely.
