KUALA LUMPUR - Bank Negara Malaysia is pleased to announce that His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong has consented to the reappointment of Tan Sri Dr. Zeti Akhtar Aziz as Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia for a term of 5 years from 1 May 2011.

KUALA LUMPUR – Tan Sri Dr. Zeti Akhtar Aziz (gambar) telah dilantik semula sebagai Gabenor Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) bagi tempoh lima tahun berkuat kuasa 1 Mei ini.

Menurut kenyataan yang dikeluarkan di sini semalam, pelantikan semula itu diperkenan oleh Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin.

Zeti, 64, telah memegang jawatan Gabenor BNM sejak Mei 2000 dan sepanjang menerajui bank pusat tersebut, beliau telah menerima beberapa anugerah kerana prestasinya.

In my humble opinion, I would have preferred a new Bank Governor because I am getting bored seeing the same signature for 10 years. What is your say about this?

  1. Thanks for commenting..yes I have been thinking about the imprinter names on the notes for a while, wonder why they stop doing it.
