Malaysian Extra dot coin complete list

Since I found a circulated but still in good very condition extra dot 50 cent 1979 about 2 weeks ago, I was very interested in adding more. I make a simple research about extra dots coin particularly Malaysian coins. I don't have the 5 cent 1982 extra dot yet.

The list of extra dot coins in the Malaysian Parliment First Series are:

5 cent 1982 Extra dot(On Parliment House) - Unc - RM150

50 cent 1979 Extra dot(On the Ground Building) - Unc - RM160

50 cent 1988 Extra dot (On Parliment House) - Unc - RM60

So if you have these coins in your collection, please take a closer look if there is an extra dot. Don't get it wrong though, not all of these coin on the above year got extra dot, that's why it is valued more.

Malaysia 50 cent/Sen 1979 Extra Dot coin found

Hai, Selamat berpuasa and happy holidays. This type of coin is something that I am very happy to find because of the year 1979( the year that I was born) and also because it doesn't cost a thing. I found it when receiving my change from Giant Superstore.

The dot is so small it can be seen from the pictures above but it is there i am sure. Some seller are selling it for RM15, RM20, RM30 and some are even selling RM80 for an UNC piece. So to be able to found one is just nice. :)

50 cent year 1988 extra dot

I am happy today because I managed to get my hands on the 1988 50cents Extra dot on the parliment building coin.

I changed RM100 into 50cents coin in the morning from a nearby bank and luckily got the coin. Just being lucky maybe. But not a single 1967 1968 1969 coins with security line. I also managed to find the 1993 50 cents to be added to my 50cents collection. Now only need the 1995 to complete it. Hopefully next time will much luckier.

The coin's condition is also good but not nearly an UNC. But I am still satisfied.
